So here’s the thing… I love Eminem. His debut album came out just after I graduated from high school and was still a rambunctious kid from the suburbs. He was clever, offensive, and spoke of some interesting truths and social dichotomies. The double hitter of The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP is still one of the greatest debut and follow up album sequences ever to get released. The Eminem Show and Encore, while not as entirely strong, are still fantastic albums.
Just after Encore was released I was growing tired of having to defend my love of Eminem to everyone. So I made this mix. It is an equal blend of tracks from each album (there are basically 5 tracks from each album) and I feel that this demonstrates why Eminem is the shit.
